- ALive presentation in Asmara, during the 17th Conference of the OIE Regional Commission for Africa (February 2007)

The 17th Conference of the OIE Regional Commission for Africa took place in Asmara, Eritrea, from February 26 to March 1, 2007. OIE Delegates from around 30 countries have participated in the meeting, along with regional and international technical and financial partners.
Two technical themes have been presented during the meeting, relating to (i) the strategy for the reinforcement of national epidemiological surveillance in Africa and (ii) harminzation of the registration and control of veterinary drugs/products in Africa.
The ALive Secretariat has made a general presentation of the Partnership as well as of the progress achieved since the 16th Conference of the OIE Regional Commission for Africa (khartoum, February 2005). The ppt presentation that was made and a summary of the intervention are available below.
