On December 4-6, 2007, the global community will gather for the fifth International Ministerial Conference on Avian and Pandemic Influenza in New Delhi, India. The goals of the Conference are to: (i) assess the current situation; (ii) evaluate the effectiveness of existing strategies; and (iii) remap the way forward. Ministers and concerned officers from the Ministries dealing with Animal Health and Public Health have been invited.
